In early 2020, I was stuck in a cycle of working jobs I didn’t care about, saving as much as I could, quitting to go travelling, and then doing it all over again.
So I went travelling with my partner, but this time I knew I didn’t want to come home and fall back into that same routine.
While I was travelling in Thailand, I started Team Virtual.
I didn’t have a perfect plan. I looked at the skills I already had from my previous jobs, admin, customer service, organisation, and figured out how to turn them into services that online businesses actually needed.
It was trial and error at the start, but I landed my first client within 7 days.
Within a few weeks, I was fully booked and earning enough to keep travelling full-time.
I made a lot of mistakes in the early days, especially without proper guidance, which is exactly why I now teach people how to do it properly from the start.
Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of women (and some men) build their own Virtual Assistant businesses using the skills they already have, so they can create more flexibility, freedom, and a life that actually works for them.
Nope! You’ll use the transferable skills you already have to create services and packages that businesses will pay for.
Our community is made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds, including teachers, nurses, hospitality, retail, admin, and corporate roles & so many more.
You’ll build confidence and upskill as you go, but the most important thing is getting started with what you already know.
It starts with setting up a legitimate business that your ideal client can take seriously, including your services, packages, and a simple social media page.
From there, it’s about getting visible, putting yourself out there, and actively reaching out to potential clients rather than waiting for them to come to you.
That’s what leads to enquiries, discovery calls, and ultimately landing your first paying clients.
Your income as a Virtual Assistant is uncapped and comes down to your capacity, how consistently you show up, and what you want to build from the business.
Many of our students start earning €1,000–€2,000 within their first 90 days, and we’ve seen them go on to replace their full-time corporate income within 12 months.
It’s not down to luck, it comes from building momentum, getting visible, and consistently putting yourself in front of the right opportunities.
Yes, absolutely, and that’s how a large portion of our community start.
They build and launch their business alongside their job, land multiple paying clients, and only consider going full-time once they’ve built up confidence and a sense of security.
There’s no rush to quit, it’s about creating a smooth transition that feels stable and sustainable for you.
